Order Information

All of the following information relates to the questions that will be asked when placing a custom order. When customs are open, you can use the form on our "Custom Order" section of the Shop to place a custom order. Customs are currently CLOSED.

Pricing

General prices are as follows but do vary between orders depending on design complexity, choices and combinations of ears, piercings and accessories;

Expedited shipping is available for some premade hoods in the shop - it'll show on the product and checkout page as an option if it is available.

Rush tickets and queue skips are available for some custom orders - please enquire if this is something you're interested in, if you'd like a hood to arrive in time for an event or similar. These are dealt with on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on if we are able to allocate the additional time needed to speed up an order. Rush tickets and queue skips do not affect the speed that other, non-ruah purchases are processed at. Please ask for further pricing information or quotes! Ear Styles

Please note that the Pointed, Folded, Sphinx and Cropped ears have colouration on one side only, and are a soft black material on the non-display side. Bouncy and buddy ears are made from a floppy, flexible rubber material and are coloured on both sides. As the material used for the Bouncy and Buddy ears is slightly different, there may be slight colour variations between the ears and the face parts. This is natural when creating designs across different fabric types.

Prices when included in a whole hood order are below - these prices may vary if purchasing ears separately due to artworking time. One pair of Pointed or Folded ears are usually included as standard on premade orders, but this depends on the design. Due to the length of the Sphinx ears, they may have more curve and wobble when worn compared to shorter styles, particularly if piercings are added. Bouncy and Buddy ears can vary in their degree of 'floppy-ness' - If you'd like a more floppy look on your hood, store your Buddy or Bouncy ears rolled up. Conversely, if you'd like them to be more upright, you can store them flat. This can also be used to your advantage to create a 'one up, one down' look!

If you're ordering a premade hood from the shop but would like more ears for it - currently the premades are sold as-is with no further modifications, however there will soon be a section added to the shop where you can buy ears for premade hoods separately. If ordering ears for an older hood, please note that designs, fabrics and printing materials may have changed slightly so matches can't be guaranteed. Some earlier Grunge Bunny hoods (pre-2022), or those with custom ear shapes, may have different spacing between the two snaps where the ears attach. If you're unsure, it's worth measuring this before ordering - more recent hoods all have a 5cm gap between snaps where the ears attach. Bouncy, Buddy, Sphinx and Folded ears come in one size for Small and Large hoods, but the Pointed and Cropped ears come in two sizes.

Piercings

Piercings are generally £3 each, and can gauged ears, septum rings, eyebrow rings, ball piercings, hoops and more.

Above shows a hood with an eyebrow piercing, double bridge piercing, austin bar, medusa, dimples, gauged ears, an assortment of ear hoops and studs and a surface tragus.

Note that adding piercings to the ears can alter their shape - most noticeably in the Sphinx ear shape. Multiple piercings can make ears floppier or fold over entirely - generally you should keep piercings to the bottom half of the ears on Sphinx ears to prevent distorting.

Sizing

Small - vertical head size up to 65cm/25.5"
Large - vertical head size 65-72cm/28.3"
Both sizes - hat/horizontal head size 21-26"/ 53-66cm

If you're on the cusp of both sizes, consider how you like it to feel - a snug fit will result in a responsive moving jaw, but if you prefer a looser fit then size up. Hoods are adjustable on the main back strap and also on the two straps under the ears.
