Terms and Conditions

You must agree to the following terms and conditions to use the Grunge Bunny website. Creating an account, purchasing from our shop or paying an invoice confirms that you have read and agreed to them.

Age Restrictions

Grunge Bunny only sells to people aged over 18 years. By creating an account on the Grunge Bunny website or using the guest checkout, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. It is part of the Paypal Terms of Service that it is only to be used by people aged over 18 years. For custom orders, by paying a Grunge Bunny invoice you are confirming that you are over 18 years.

Custom Orders

Unless specifically requested beforehand, no previews or concept art of a custom design will be shown before a custom order is sent off for printing. If previews are requested at the time of the custom order form being submitted, it should be noted that only small areas of the design file will be shown, such as the brow area or top half of an ear. This is to protect the Grunge Bunny design process and maintain the exclusivity of our unique style.

Custom orders are eligible for a maximum of two minor design revisions at the designer's discretion. The designer reserves the right to tweak or modify any colours, markings, or design elements to best fit on a custom hood, even if this will make the design different to the provided reference. Custom hoods generally take around 6 months from design to completion and dispatch. These working times may vary due to circumstances - feel free to get in touch for more information about dispatch dates and assembly times.

Work will not begin on a custom hood until the minimum down payment has been received on the invoice. If the invoice remains unpaid for more than 48 hours, the custom design slot will be forfeited and offered to the next person. Custom orders are non-refundable - see the Warranty and Returns section for more information.

You may request a custom order that is a premade design in a size that hasn’t yet been provided as a premade. You may also request additional ears to go with previously created custom orders or premade designs. Recolours of pre-existing premade designs are also possible – just mention the relevant info when you submit the custom request.

Hood Irregularities

The neoprene that our hoods are made from goes through a type of fabric printing where there is a layer of white fabric which markings are printed onto, and as such there may be small white edges visible on hoods. Colours may vary and may look different in real life due to differences in screens and monitors, along with the limitations of the printing process and environmentally friendly inks available. Hoods tend to look different in daylight when compared to studio lighting. Bright daylight often reflects more of the white fabric underneath the printed colours which can make a hood look lighter than when under artificial or studio lighting. Photos of hoods are taken under studio lighting and aren’t edited aside from minor tone, contrast and colour correction.

The hoods are cut by hand and as such there is a margin for error. Ears made from double-sided material - e.g. the buddy and bouncy pup ears - are made from a different material than the rest of the hood, and as such may have some colour variation when compared to the main part of the hood. Double sided material also has a varying degree of ‘floppiness’ – storing the ears curled over can increase the amount of curve they hold when being worn. It is advised to store taller styles of ears flat if you would prefer to minimise any curling.

All hoods adhere to a strict level of quality control - please remember that they are entirely handmade, not machine-made, and as such may have small marks, quirks and individualities. They are unique and have been made with love and care!

Grunge Bunny will not be held responsible for damage to hoods from being stored or used incorrectly. A care sheet is provided with every hood sold and is also available on the website.

Copying

Copying or replicating our hood designs or design elements is not allowed in any shape or form - imitation is flattering but it can also be very damaging to small businesses. Please respect this.

Grunge Bunny hoods are protected by artistic copyright laws and if it is deemed that they have been imitated in any then the relevant legal parties will become involved. This includes creating products which have similarities such as design elements that have been inspired by a Grunge Bunny product - for example, assembling a muzzle on a hood with similar patterning around the sides of the snout. This will not be tolerated and the relevant authorities will be involved. We are a very small team of workers and imitating our original products that took months to develop is incredibly unethical and disrespectful and will be discussed at length within the team and the kink community.

Warranty and Returns

Whilst all hoods are made with durability and ease of use in mind, they are not indestructible. All Grunge Bunny hoods purchased in the webshop or via a custom order come with a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects but due to the nature of play these are often used for, any damage caused by general wear and tear, poor storage, water, moisture, or inappropriate use is not covered by this warranty. We cannot take returns/refunds on opened, used or second hand hoods for hygiene reasons. If you're having a problem with your hood, please don't hesitate to contact us. It is normal for the cut edges or layers of the neoprene to soften and raise slightly over time. Lifted edges can be carefully repaired with clear wetsuit glue. Whilst we try our best to use exclusively stainless steel or brass hardware, this can vary - especially when it comes to additional charms, pierings or spikes. Rusting is usually caused by not drying a hood well enough after use. Be sure to remove charms or piercings that react to a magnet before washing your hood or allowing it to come into contact with moisture. Returns or repairs for damage due to rusting will be handled on a case-by-case basis and there is no guarantee we can replace or repair a hood that has shown signs of rusting within the 6-month warranty.

Modifying a hood or other product in any way will void the warranty. This includes adding additional piercings, decorations, adding to or changing colours of the products, sewing, altering or changing the appearance of the product in any way. Grunge Bunny does not condone any painting or drawing onto products as this can damage the materials and cause staining.

Whilst hoods are packed carefully for transport, they may arrive with minor creasing which should gradually fade once opened. If your hood has been mishandled by customs inspection then you will need to contact the shipping company to discuss compensation as this is outside of our control. Grunge Bunny is not responsible for any damage caused to hoods from handling by postal services or customs.

Refund & Return Policy

Premade orders are only eligible for refund or return if unworn and in new condition in their original packaging. Once opened and removed from the protective packaging, products are no longer able to be returned due to hygiene reasons. Any returns or exchanges requested will be processed minus shipping, handling and service fees. The buyer is responsible for any return shipping required and this must be sent via tracked and insured with any required customs documentation. Grunge Bunny will not be held responsible for any custom import or export fees, items lost in shipping, poorly packaged items, or items damaged in transit.

Grunge Bunny is not responsible for orders which have been placed incorrectly, be that ordering the wrong size, colour or item by accident. Please check the sizing chart and order information before placing your order. Once an order has been placed, if you realise you have placed it incorrectly it can be returned without being opened as outlined in the paragraph above. Refunds or returns are not possible on items that have been opened. Exchanges will only be possible if the item requested for the exchange is available at the time a returned parcel has been received. Orders must be returned unopened and in new, saleable condition in their original packaging. If you wish to change or cancel an order before it is shipped out you must contact Grunge Bunny within 30 minutes of placing your order using the email address or contact form provided. Order cancellation or change requests will not be able to be honoured if no contact is made before the order has been packaged and shipped.

On custom orders, payments put down before design, printing and assembly are refundable minus admin and service fees. The design process can begin in as soon as 30 minutes following a successful downpayment. Please note that once any custom markings have been designed and materials have been ordered, no refunds will be possible. Completed custom orders are not eligible for refunds unless the product has a manufacturing fault, in which case it will be eligible for repair. The buyer will be responsible for return shipping, which should be tracked and insured.

Once a custom order has been submitted and approved, the custom order must be paid off in full before the order can be dispatched. There will be no refunds given for lack of communication, incorrect information provided, changing designs or design elements after submitting, or the finished custom design not looking exactly as imagined. There is an element of interpretation in creating a custom design, even if a design template has been completed, due to the 3D nature of the product and the natural variation from transferring a digital artwork to a physical item.

If a custom order has been fully paid off, photos of the finished hood will be sent via email. If this email hasn’t been responded to within 10 working days, the custom order will still be dispatched to the provided shipping address. Failure to respond to any emails or other forms of contact from Grunge Bunny within reasonable time cannot be used as a reason to reject, refuse or make any different choices or decisions regarding a custom order.

Origins of Products

Grunge Bunny hoods are exclusively designed, printed and assembled in the UK. Other items in the webshop are sourced from a variety of external providers and as such may or may not be sourced from within the UK. As much as we would love to supply exclusively handmade items, in order for the Grunge Bunny to grow we must expand our network of suppliers to be able to provide the products our customers have shown an interest in. The UK is a small island and can't always provide the products we're looking for!

Non-payment of Custom Orders

If any order has not been fully paid off within 6 months of the intended dispatch date, Grunge Bunny reserves the right to sell the hood as a premade, regardless of custom markings or character design. We don't want this to happen so please contact us if you're having difficulty completing payment for any custom or premade order.

Safety

Grunge Bunny cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that happen whilst wearing or using any of our products - please be careful. Grunge Bunny hoods and headgear are for external use and are not to be used as any sort of medical barrier or face mask and should not be worn in a body of water. Any other products sold in the Grunge Bunny shop are not intended for internal use and should be disposed of after showing any signs of wear. Products are a choking hazard and are not to be handled or used by anyone under the age of 18. Grunge Bunny products are sold as art pieces and should be handled and used with this in mind.

Shipping and Customs Policy

Once dispatched, sole responsibility for the parcel is with the shipping company. Grunge Bunny cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in the post, incorrect addresses provided, failed delivery attempts, or any customs charges, and won't be able to offer any free replacements or reimbursements for orders that are lost or damaged in the post. Items will be shipped to the address provided at checkout or on the custom order form.

Custom orders will have tracking added to the Paypal invoice upon dispatch. An email will come from Paypal with this tracking information in it. Orders placed via the website will have any tracking updated on the order details. Orders with standard shipping are usually shipped with Royal Mail. Small orders with items valued under £100 may be sent without tracking. If you require tracking please purchase expedited shipping. Expedited shipping is usually provided by Parcel Force. This may vary. If you have a particular shipping company you’d prefer an order is dispatched with, you must contact Grunge Bunny before placing the order to discuss if this will be possible. If this shipping company requires additional admin or dispatch from a different location, you may be required to pay an additional fee for this request to be honoured. Grunge Bunny is not responsible for any incorrect addresses provided. If an incorrect address is provided and a parcel is returned, the buyer will be responsible for paying another shipping and handling fee for the order to be dispatched again to a new address. The same applies if an order cannot be delivered for any reason, such as not being available to sign for or receive a parcel.

Order Privacy

Please tell us when you place your order if you want us to keep your hood secret and would prefer no photos to be shared online, particularly with custom orders! You can do this via email or by using the "Order Notes" section at checkout. Sharing your social media handles is encouraged if you'd like to be tagged in posts of your hood, and be sure to tag us @grungebunnygear in your hood pics! Your personal information will not be shared anywhere except for being used to ship your order to you. Orders ship in discreet packaging.
