Storage

Your hood needs the best care to prolong its life. Grunge Bunny recommends storing your hood in its original packaging layout. It is also fine to store your hood on a mannequin head. It is always a good idea to cover or store your hood away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and sun damage. Whilst it is natural for neoprene to gain some creases and for layers to seperate slightly over time, storing it and caring for it correctly will help to minimise this.

Cleaning

Keep that hood clean, pups! Allowing a build-up of sweat, facial oils and other grime can shorten the lifespan of the neoprene and cause permanent damage. The best way to clean your hood is by hand-washing it in the sink or bath, using laundry detergent and cool water. Do not wring, twist or stretch the neoprene, and avoid machine washing, tumble drying, ironing or high temperatures. Pat dry your hood with a clean towel, paying particular attention to the metal hardware and any piercings, and then hang dry by the straps, ideally near a fan or in a breezy area.

Usage

Whilst all hoods are made with durability and ease of use in mind, they are not indestructible. All hoods come with a 6 month warranty against manufacturing defects but due to the nature of play they are often used for, any damage caused by inappropriate use is not covered by this warranty.
